old number showing on messages

New phone and sim

The old id number shows when i reply to messages which is causing me some problems.

I have done resetting as instructed.

What else can I do?

For iPhone:

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

Your iPhone should now recognise the SIM and verify your number to get it working again.

Did all that and nothing worked

Reset phone to factory settings and everything ok now thanks
