    Hi @Millierosenoakes05

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your phone.

To help us understand the problem better, could you please confirm whether:

    • 📱 The handset itself is running slowly (apps freezing, lagging, slow performance), or
    • 📶 You’re having issues with the signal/network (calls, data, internet connection not working properly)

Once we know which issue you’re experiencing, we’ll be able to guide you through the correct troubleshooting steps.

    Hi @Whitekimmy

Start with a simple restart. It sounds basic, but it often clears temporary glitches that cause lag. Turn the phone off completely, wait about 30 seconds, then switch it back on.

Next, check your storage. When a phone is nearly full, performance can drop significantly. Go to Settings → Storage and check available space. If you’re running low, remove unused apps, old videos, large WhatsApp media, and unnecessary downloads.

Close background apps by opening your recent apps screen and clearing anything you’re not actively using. Too many running apps can cause freezing and slow performance, especially on mid-range devices.

Make sure your software and apps are up to date. Check Settings → Software Update, and also update apps via the Play Store or App Store. Updates often include performance improvements and bug fixes.

    Clear cache where needed:

Android: Settings → Apps → select app → Storage → Clear Cache
Browsers like Chrome: clearing cache can noticeably improve speed

If typing is slow, check your keyboard app settings. Clearing its cache or switching keyboards can help.

Uninstall or disable apps you don’t use, especially heavy apps like social media or games that run background services.

Also check for overheating. If the phone is warm or hot, remove the case and let it cool down, as devices throttle performance when overheated.

If none of this helps, back up your data and consider a factory reset, which often restores full performance on heavily cluttered devices.
