Question

phone number

I have an existing iD Mobile contract with my old number and 100GB data. I’ve just taken out a new contract with a new number and unlimited data. I want to keep my old number on the new contract.

    Hi @Mdewar1,

Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to transfer your existing iD Mobile number directly from one iD Mobile contract to another.

As you’ve taken out a separate new contract rather than upgrading your existing plan, the new contract has been provided with its own mobile number.

If you want to keep your original number and move onto a new handset or plan, we’d recommend contacting the point of sale to discuss returning or cancelling the new contract, subject to your return eligibility.

Once this has been completed, you can then upgrade your existing iD Mobile plan correctly, which will allow you to keep your current mobile number.

If you need assistance finding an upgrade once the new plan has been returned, you can contact our Sales Team via Live Chat: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat
