    We’re sorry to hear of the issues that this has caused.

     

    This can sometimes happen after a SIM swap or number port, where the device needs to fully refresh its network settings to correctly register the primary number for outgoing messages.

     

    A simple network reset often resolves this:

    • Go to your phone’s Settings
    • Select General Management / System / Reset (varies by device)
    • Tap Reset Network Settings
    • Restart your phone afterwards

     

    Once restarted, your device should re-register correctly with the network and display the correct number for messaging.
