Physical Sim not working

Hi,

My phone is no longer reading my physical SIM card so I cannot receive phone calls or texts. How do I get a replacement SIM or switch to an esim?

Hi ​@Darksun,

 

I’m sorry to hear your phone isn’t reading your SIM. You have two options:

Order a replacement physical SIM – we can send one to your address.

Switch to an eSIM – this is a digital SIM that you can activate directly on your phone without needing a physical card.

 

How to get an eSIM on the iD Mobile app:
 

Download & open the iD Mobile app on your phone.

Log in using your iD Mobile account credentials.

Go to the “My SIM” or “Manage SIM” section.

Select “Switch to eSIM” or “Get eSIM”.

Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your account.

Once verified, you’ll receive a QR code on your app or email.

Open your phone’s Settings → Mobile / Cellular → Add Mobile Plan.

Scan the QR code to activate your eSIM.

Your eSIM will now replace your physical SIM, and you can remove the old SIM if needed.
