I'm trying to change my customer pin, I put the new pin in and press save. It whires around but doesn't do anything. I'm porting my number today, might that be the problem?

HI @TomMiller,

I understand that can be frustrating, especially on the day your number is porting.

Yes, it’s possible the ongoing port process may temporarily restrict some account changes, including PIN updates, while your details are being fully transferred across systems.

Please try the following steps:
Fully close the iD Mobile app and reopen it
Try changing your PIN again after a short wait (30–60 minutes)
If using the app, try logging in via a web browser instead
Clear cache or try using a different device if possible
Make sure the app is fully updated

If it still doesn’t work:
It’s likely due to the port still being in progress, and this should resolve once the transfer completes today
Please try again after 6pm today when the port is expected to be fully finished.

Ok, so that worked, I tried the day after it ported and it went through without a problem.

Now I have another situation. I have another number that I ported, but my account still showed the old number, so I deleted it. When I try to open a new account with my ported number it says it doesn't recognise me???

Hi @TomMiller

Can you please confirm if the number moved over to iD Mobile successfully and you received a text mentioning that the number moved.

I don't remember getting a text message, but I got an email to say my number had been ported, and it shows ID as my provider

Hi @TomMiller,

Thanks for the update.

If you've already registered your online account using the temporary iD Mobile number that was provided before the port completed, you'll need to continue using that temporary number to access the account.

However, if you'd prefer to use your ported number to log in and manage the account, please let us know. We can help arrange for the account registration to be reset so that you can register again using your transferred number.

Just let us know which option you'd prefer, and we'll be happy to help.

Regards,
