Pixel March update has made my phone unusable.

As of this morning (18 March), my Pixel 9a appeared dead. I eventually got some response by plugging it into a charger (it usually sits in a cradle overnight), and using ‘power+vol up’ to reboot it. 
But the battery display was at zero. Then it rebooted. This cycle continues.

What are my options?
