Why when I request a new eSIM does the system send me a code by text .

If I need a new eSIM then surely the system would work out that my old one is not working . Therefore I can not receive texts

This protocol verifies the account owner's identity and protects your phone number from unauthorized transfer or fraud. Regrettably, the system does not automatically detect if your current SIM card or device is non-functional.
