Port Number from Vodafone

My Vodafone number was due to be ported today, Vodafone have ended the number on my old handset and I have had a text on my ID mobile to say that my number has been switched over. However, I my handset is still only showing the ID mobile number. I have switched the phone on and off again etc but it still hasn’t updated. Do I need to just wait and give it more time, or is there something else that needs to be done?

The porting process can take up to 10pm to complete. Please be patient and hopefully it finishes sooner rather than later today.

Thanks for getting in touch. I understand your Vodafone number was due to be ported today and you've received confirmation that the switch is complete.

Since your handset is still showing the iD Mobile number, it may take a few hours for the update to fully reflect.Please ensure your SIM/eSIM is active and your phone is connected to the network.
Restarting the device is a good first step, which you've already done. If the correct number doesn’t appear by the end of the day or if you're unable to make or receive calls,

Hi all - it is now all complete. My primary number didn’t change automatically in the settings in mobile service. However I reset the network settings and it fixed this 😀😀
