Ported number from O2 to iDmobile but it hasn't worked?

I've come across from O2 to iDmobile and requested a PAC code from O2 so I could keep my number. I've received texts from iDmobile to say everything's up and running but I can't make/receive calls or texts except when connected to wifi. I have had 2 very long and ultimately frustrating episodes on the online chat support app today which didn't fix the issue. I've been into a curry's store this evening and they set me up with a physical SIM which has been activated (I was previously on an esim) but it has made no difference. I really need to be contactable currently as I have a close family member who is very ill and I need to be contactable.

So far I have reset the network multiple times, restarted the phone each time I reset the network. Had Airplane mode on and off and had the phone turned off for hours at a time. No e of this has made the slightest difference. I've tried my wife's business sim from O2 and this works, so I think the phone works. I'd be grateful if anyone could help me resolve this issue, please

Hey @Andy1496,

Sorry to hear you’ve had issues. Have you tried all the steps in this Community article?

I appreciate some of the steps you might have done, but some you might not have.

Thanks.

Hi. I have followed all the steps in the link provided. I've done an online free emei check which was successful and shows the phone as being factory unlocked. The APN settings look correct although my phone had some additional entries not shown in the help article.

When I look at Network Operators in settings it's set to 'select automatically'. If I turn this off it finds other networks including iD. However when I attempt to connect to this network, I get a timer icon which whizzes round for a while and then just times out. This is on 3 bar signal strength inside my place of work but I've tried outside and it makes no difference. I'm on a physical SIM now (esim did the same thing) and it's in sim position 1 so I'm no further forward unfortunately. Thank you for your help thus far. Andy

Thanks for confirming @Andy1496 -

In your original post you say Calls & Texts don’t work. How about Data so 4G/5G?

Have you tried your O2 SIM, sometimes a ‘split port’ occurs? Or is it completed deactivated?

Also what phone Make & Model are you using?

Thanks.

Sorry I should have specified, nothing works via the network: calls, texts and data do not work. I'm using the phone now connected to wifi. I can call and text when connected to wifi but otherwise I have no service whatsoever.

The O2 was an esim and has now been turned off so I'm not able to pursue any fault-finding from that perspective.

I have a Samsung Galaxy ZFold 6.

Thanks

Andy
