My ported number is not showing as “My number” in iPhone 17 settings. I cannot physically change it, but have tried network reset to no avail.
The problem is that I cannot recover my Apple Account as it wants to send the verification code to the original number given by ID Mobile before my old number ported.
What are my next steps and, in a worst case scenario, is there the possibility of having an e-sim with the original number so that I can at least receive the verification code?
