porting number from old supplier

I have received my new SIM card today from id and put in my phone, when I puchased the plan I provided the PAC code from my old supplier, but I have been given a new number and not retained the old one, does it take a while or should it be straight away when the sim is put in the phone ?

    I’m really sorry to hear this I understand how important it is to keep your original number, especially after providing your PAC code.

     

    In most cases, your number transfer should complete on the agreed transfer date, but if your SIM is showing a temporary number instead, it may need a quick check on our side to confirm the status of the port.
