rcs issues esim to physical sim.

I switched from Esim to a physical SIM 8 days ago. Rcs chat won't verify.  I have a pixel 9. 

 

Very frustrating. Have  rebooted cleared cache .removed SIM Nothing stuck on verifying.

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m really sorry to hear that RCS chat is still stuck on “Verifying” after switching from an eSIM to a physical SIM. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially after trying all the usual steps.

Since you’re using a Google Pixel 9, please try the steps below, as RCS sometimes gets stuck after a SIM change:

Turn RCS Off and Back On

Open Messages

Tap your profile icon → Messages settings

Select RCS chats

Turn RCS chats OFF

Restart your phone

Turn RCS chats ON again
