Hi,

I finally had my replacement SIM card sent to me and would like to replace my current eSIM with that. What do I do? Close my eSIM  first?
can someone guide through the precise procedure to remove my eSIM and set up the replacement SIM card, so that I don’t lose my mobile for very long?

Thanks

@cosnick365  Hello you need to active you replacement sim card.

Step 1: Activate your new physical SIM

    • Insert sim card it into your phone.
    • Follow the instructions to activate it. This may involve logging in to your account online or via the app and using the 19-digit SIM card number found on the card.

    Step 2: Remove the eSIM

    • After your new physical SIM is active, you can delete the old eSIM profile from your phone's settings.
    • Go to Settings > Mobile Services (iPhone) or Settings > Connections > SIM card Manager (Samsung) or Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs (other Android).
    • Tap on the eSIM you want to remove and select the option to Delete or Remove it.

    Hope this helps you.

Edit update try and complete this today Friday as over the weekend IDMobile are having a system upgrade and some service will not be operational.

You mobile call, text and date they are not affected.
