I’ve just received my new Samsung A36 and did the whole phone set-up including moving all data and apps from my old phone. I have set fingerprint screen unlock but I do not recall adding a screen pin. The phone seem to have a screen lock pin which is unknown to me. Is there a default screen pin or a way to reset it without having to take my phone away ?

Hi @Cat140925 thanks for reaching out.The default PIN is 1111. If you enter the wrong PIN three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK, which can be obtained by contacting our customer services. If you enter the wrong PUK ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently, and you'll need a new SIM from iD.
