server unreachable and intermittent loos of connection and data

I'm experiencing 2 issues.

1. Server unreachable trying to call any other mobile.

2. Intermittent loss of network connection. Displaying x on signal power bars. No data and no calls during this time.

SIM has been reinstalled and tried both slots (device is a dual SIM Xiaomi redmi note 10 5g). Second SIM by Vodafone never experienced similar issues.  

Happens both at home and at my workplace. 

Any ideas or should I ask for a replacement SIM?

Forgot to say, today I received two calls that were disconnected after a period of 1-2 minutes. After that the server unreachable message appeared when I tried to call back. Signal strength is 4/5 bars 5g in my area.

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing these issues I understand how disruptive it is, especially when it’s affecting both calls and data.

 

📱 Please try the following additional steps:

1. Lock network to 4G only

On your Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G:

  • Go to Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks
  • Select your iD SIM
  • Tap Preferred network type
  • Set to LTE/4G only
  • Restart your phone

2. Manually select network

  • Settings → Mobile networks → Network operators
  • Turn off automatic selection
  • Wait for available networks and manually select your provider

3. Reset APN settings

  • Go to Access Point Names (APN)
  • Reset to default settings
  • Restart device afterwards

4. Test call behaviour

  • Try both outgoing and incoming calls
  • Check if calls still drop after 1–2 minutes
