Hi,

I switched over to ID a couple of days ago and I’m having major signal issues. I initially thought this was down to swapping my number/provider but coming here and seeing similar issues it looks like it’s not. My wifi is terrible at home so I rely on my mobile data and I’m lucky if I get 1 bar. I also spent the majority of work today with no signal and a paper aeroplane by the signal (not the same as aeroplane mode) I’ve switched my phone off thinking it might need updating but still no different. Any help would be greatly appreciated but already I’m thinking of cancelling my contract in the cooling down period as I’m only on day 1 and can’t put up with it.

If you’re experiencing poor signal at your location, there’s little anyone can do. However, you can check coverage or look up known issues by entering your postcode below.

However, you’re probably better off taking advantage of that cooling-off period and switching to a network that offers better coverage in your area.

Thank you for your advice. I have checked the signal for my area which says is “excellent” although this is definitely not the case 😭 I will contact them over the weekend and cancel my contract. Such a shame.
