Currently in Egypt,  husbands phone sim is blocked,  how can we unblock it

Is the bill cap on your spouse’s iD account too low for roaming in Egypt, @Rose-Marie

If their bill cap is £0, they won’t be able to use their iD Mobile SIM in Egypt, except to receive SMS text messages, sorry.

Just asked and its set at £20, we are using hotels WiFi,  he tried to use esim which didn't work,  someone suggested turning ID sim off and he hasn't been able to unblock it

Oh dear @Rose-Marie, perhaps your spouse’s eSIM was deactivated or deleted instead of turned OFF.

It's his ID physical sim that is blocked,  the esim worked out to be incompatible with his Samsung a54,  so requested a refund on that from holafly which is being processed.  Just trying to find a way of getting ID to unblock his sim.

Maybe try https://airalo.com/egypt-esim instead.

Try https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat for iD customer service. The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays (their chatbot works 24/7) - though they’ll usually only talk to the iD account holder.
