can’t make calls to landlines, sim switched yesterday

As your SIM only switched yesterday, it's possible that some services are still completing the activation process.

 

If you're only having issues calling certain landline numbers, it may also depend on the type of number you're trying to call. While standard UK landlines are typically included in allowances, some number ranges fall outside of inclusive minutes and are treated as out-of-plan charges, which you can view here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/call-charges.

 

If you're unable to call all landlines, we'd recommend:

  • Restarting your phone
  • Checking that your SIM activation and number transfer have completed successfully
  • Ensuring you have signal and can make calls to mobile numbers
  • Check that if the number is a premium number, you have a bill cap in place to be able to make the call.
