sim card restrictions

Hi

We are trying to use an American SIM card during a long trip away, when activating the SIM card we get this message. The phone is not restricted according to the settings. Any ideas?

Thanks for getting in touch.

Devices purchased through iD Mobile are not network locked, so they can be used with SIM cards from other providers.

If your phone settings also show that there are no SIM restrictions, we'd recommend trying a network settings reset first and then attempting to activate the American SIM again.

If the issue continues, we'd recommend contacting the US network provider that issued the SIM, as they'll be best placed to check whether there's an issue with the SIM, activation, or compatibility with their network.
