sim has stopped.working

My phone reset over night and now my sim is not working. 

I have tried it in a different phone and it just says insert sim. 

It has been working for the last couple of weeks with a message saying invalid sim.

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with your SIM.

 

As you've already tested the SIM in another phone and it's showing "Insert SIM", it does suggest there may be an issue with the SIM itself. Before replacing it, we'd recommend trying a network reset on your phone.

 

For iPhone:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Select Transfer or Reset iPhone
  • Tap Reset
  • Choose Reset Network Settings

For Android:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General Management or System
  • Select Reset
  • Tap Reset Network Settings
  • Confirm the reset

 

After the reset, restart the phone and test the SIM again.
