sim not accepted in new phone

I purchased the new pixel 11 phone in place of my current pixel 9. I cannot swap the current SIM into the pixel 11. It tells me that the SIM cannot transfer.

The pixel 11 is unlocked onto any network.

What can I do?

As a first step, we'd recommend testing your current iD Mobile SIM in another compatible, unlocked handset.

If the SIM works normally in another handset, this suggests the issue may be related to the Pixel 11
If the SIM doesn't work in another unlocked handset either, this may indicate an issue with the SIM itself.
