Samsung Galaxy S24

Today following an update that was done last night - if I go to view my photos in the Gallery the phone keeps switching off. I can make and receive calls and message just can’t see my photos. Have cleared the cache and data, got a full battery have tried with phone plugged into mains and without, software all updated, no updates for the Galaxy app.  Just can’t view photos without phone switching off???
