swooping from id sim only to id contrat

i currently have a id mobile sim only deal but im looking at getting a new phone on contract with a id mobile plan how do i swap my number ,i have got a pac code but when i try to enter it on the application form it says it can't be done as im with id already

Thank you for getting in touch. Since you already have an active iD Mobile SIM-only account, the system won’t allow you to enter a PAC code for a number transfer on a new contract directly.
 

To move your number to a new iD Mobile phone contract, you have two options:

-Contact our Sales Team directly – They can manually process the switch for you and ensure your number moves from your current SIM-only account to your new contract. You can reach them on 0800 049 0250.

-Use the existing PAC to transfer to a new account after closing your current one – If you’d prefer, you can close your SIM-only account first and then port the number using the PAC code.
 

Once your number transfer is processed, your old SIM-only plan will end, and you’ll continue using the same number on your new contract.
