Temp replacement for warranty repair.

My current phone Pixel 10 Pro XL has developed a fault and needs to be sent off under warranty via EE for repair, this will take 5 days. I have a Pixel 8 which I upgraded from. Can I use the Pixel 8 temporarily using the same esim number and some of the same apps until I get my phone back from repair. Will putting my Pixel 10 into repair mode enable me to this? Both phones are running Android 17.

    Yes, you can use your old Google Pixel 8 while your current phone is being repaired.

    You can request an eSIM through the iD Mobile app or by contacting our Live Chat team: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat. Once the eSIM has been activated on your Pixel 8, you'll be able to continue using your iD Mobile service while your other phone is away for repair.
