I have recently come back to the UK after travelling and am unable to take calls or sent texts with my phone. When I try it just says message failed to send however my data is on with the correct SIM card and I have tried restarting my phone to see if this helps, but it still does the same. I wonder if you may be able to help with this issue?
my mobile data still works so I don’t know why the messaging and calls don’t.

hope to hear from you, many thanks!

It's this happing on different location?

Have you manually searched for ID mobile in your phones settings and select it if it's listed after the search?

Hi @Grubby2003

Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with calls and texts since returning to the UK.

As your mobile data is working, this suggests that the SIM is connecting to the network, but there may be an issue affecting voice and SMS services.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart your handset
  • Toggle Airplane Mode on for 60 seconds and then off
  • Ensure the correct SIM is selected as the default for calls and messages (if your handset supports Dual SIM)
  • Check that Call Barring is disabled
  • Manually select the network:
    • Go to Settings
    • Select Mobile Network
    • Select Network Operators
    • Turn off Automatic Selection
    • Wait for available networks to load
    • Select a network manually
    • Then re-enable Automatic Selection
  • Reset your network settings:
    • iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    • Android: Settings > General Management/System > Reset > Reset Mobile Network Settings
  • Ensure your handset software is fully up to date

If you've recently returned from abroad, it can also help to switch the handset off for a few minutes and allow it to re-register on the UK network once restarted.
