I’ve blocked my ex on my iPhone. He still manages to leave voice mails which is unwanted and don’t know how to go about blocking it altogether. Police are involved but it’s still a nuisance

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this.

Unfortunately, blocking a number on your iPhone doesn't completely prevent someone from leaving a voicemail in all circumstances. As a result, it may still be possible for a blocked caller to leave messages, even though their calls and texts are blocked.

As the police are already involved, we'd recommend continuing to keep a record of any unwanted contact and following any guidance they've provided.

Unfortunately, we can't completely block voicemail messages from a specific number. If the contact is becoming a safety or wellbeing concern, you may wish to consider a number change to prevent further contact.
