Transfer number from contract to new esim monthly plan

I’m just coming to the end of my 2 year contract. Only a few days left. So I’ve just bought a monthly plan eSIM. How do I transfer my number from the previous contract to the new eSIM plan? (Both on ID mobile) also need to cancel the 2 year contract.

@Aspkaw  What you needed to do is do an upgrade and not take out a new plan. The only way for you to keep and transfer you orginal IDMobile number onto this new contract is.

Request a PAC code from IDMobile and port it onto another network on a PAYGO plan. 

Once you've done this you can then request you new network for a PAC code so this you'll port onto your new IDMobile number and contract and follow the instructions.

IDMobile do not allow porting of IDMobile to IDMobile number's to each other.

Do you know if I can cancel the new monthly plan I’ve just taken out? Is there a cooling off period etc ?

@Aspkaw  Yes there's always a cooling off period. Go by memory forgive if I'm wrong 14 day's, but you can search this on the site or read the T&C  by IDMobile.
