transferring old mobile number problems

My old mobile number has not transferred properly I can ring out but no one can contact me

Thanks for getting in touch I’m sorry you’re having trouble with this.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like your number port has only partially completed. The fact that you can make outgoing calls but people can’t reach you usually indicates an issue with inbound routing on the network following the transfer.

To help get this resolved, please try the following first:

Restart your phone
Turn airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off again

Please confirm the make and model of your phone as well.

I've just put my phone on aeroplane mode and im using a Samsung galaxy a16 mobile phone

Its still not working

Thank you for getting in touch with us, please try the following network steps:

 

1. Go to the Home screen. To open the menu, swipe up on the screen. 
2. Choose Settings. 
3. Scroll down. Choose Connections. 
4. Choose Mobile networks. 
5. Choose Network mode. 
6. Choose 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect). 
7. The Samsung Galaxy S22 5G has now been configured for use of 5G networks. Return to the Home screen. You are able to turn off auto connect so that it remains on 5G.

I already have 5g on its anyone calling my number can't get through

I've tried to do this but network mode is unavailable no option to turn it on
