Trying to keep old number - used my PAC but cannot choose a switch date

When I signed up, I sent a PAC code so that I could keep my old number.

A few days later I received the new sim card and put it in my phone.
When I tried to log in to iD mobile with my computer and set a switch date, it asks for a phone number. I put my old number in, the site says the number doesn’t match the records. When I put the temporary new number in, the site tries to send me a one time passcode. The passcode never arrives. I cannot schedule a switch because I cannot login. I also cannot log into the phone app for iD Mobile at all.
So I’m stuck, and I can’t send texts properly.

I have restarted my phone more than once, and tried changing my password, and tried to consult live chat. It has been three days and I will be charged next month for this service that I am not yet receiving.

Please help?

If anyone is reading this and struggling with the same issue, make sure to check that your iphone has the temporary new number written into the Settings > Phone > My Number part of your device. You’ll need this to set a switch date to get your old number back. It does not change automatically.
