Hi @PC7114,

Sorry you’re having trouble turning off call forwarding, that “unsupported by operator” message can be really frustrating. Let’s run through a few things that usually fix it.

Try disabling call forwarding from your phone

For iPhone:

  • Go to Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding
  • Toggle it off
  • If it won’t switch off, try turning Airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off, and try again

For Android:

  • Go to Phone app > Settings (or 3 dots menu)
  • Tap Calling accounts / Supplementary services
  • Select Call forwarding
  • Turn all forwarding options off (Always forward, When busy, etc.)

Use dial codes (this often works when settings don’t)

Try dialling the following from your phone keypad:

  • ##002# → This cancels all call forwarding
  • Then press the call button

You should see a confirmation message once it’s been removed

Other things to try

  • Restart your phone after making the changes
  • Remove and reinsert your SIM (if applicable)
  • Make sure your phone has signal when making the change

Hi Gemma M

Thank you for your response. I followed your instructions and did receive the confirmation msg as described. Unfortunately although I received the message the numbers used for forwarding were not removed.

I restarted the phone as you suggested and also re-inserted the SIM & also went to Airplane mode for 30secs.

I am now getting desperate, can you advise anything else?

Regards
