Hi there
If your correct number is showing to others for calls and texts then the possible causes that come to mind are:
- to give it some more time, maybe even physically switching the phone off and on every hour or so.
- maybe the port hasn’t fully completed - known as a split port. This would need iD to investigate/resolve.
- you were issued with a faulty SIM/eSIM - this can happen. Again either go to your local Currys and pick up a new physical SIM or request a new eSIM.
- to consider carrying out a network reset - this will erase saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN settings. After the reset, you’d need to re-enter WiFi passwords and configure any other network settings as needed.
Others may offer more/better advice, but personally if today was your go live date I’d stick with 1.
