I bought a phone from you two years ago and when I took it into the shop they told me they don't lock phones but apparently you locked my I got the nothing 2

So if I was to unlock the phone could I just take it into Currys now that my contract is at an end?

In the UK, mobile network providers are banned from selling network-locked phones, so any phone bought after December 2021 will be unlocked.

Who told you it was locked? ID? I think someone's having you on.. take it and sell it elsewhere else 😁

@Jakathey  I can assure you that the Nothing Phone 2 are not locked I'm using one since over 2 years now no issue and had other sim cards from all networks in UK working side by  lside and no problem while overseas with foreign sim card with In Different countries.

HI @Jakathey

I’m so sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with your phone. Please be advised that iD Mobile does not network-lock any of our devices, all our phones are fully unlocked and compatible with all network providers. I would recommend getting in touch with our customer service team so we can investigate this further for you.

You can either hop onto Live Chat at https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat or send us an email at socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk sand we’ll be happy to take a deeper look into the issue.

Regards,

Gemma
