upgraded and now number wont transfer

I have just upgraded my sim only contract with iD to a pay monthly with iD . So now have a new phone. This was all done with iD over the phone as an upgrade. the person I spoke to said I’ll be given the option to transfer my number when setting up the new phone, however the phone keeps saying that the transfer of my current number is not supported! Any ideas how I transfer my e sim number to the new phone?

How come I have to do that? Is it an id error? Any ideas why it won’t transfer?

iD Mobile don’t support that Apple feature.

@WelshPaul is correct. I’m afraid we don’t offer this service. You would need to replace the eSIM.

I spoke to someone from customer service team this morning. She said it needs 24hours to transfer. Is that right or shall I just order a new one?

Hi there ​@Gabriella123, you can’t transfer an eSIM from one phone to another I’m afraid, so you’ll just need to request a free replacement eSIM via the iD Mobile app/website or via our live-chat and download it.
