roaming not working in turkey

Hello,

 

I am currently on holiday in Turkey and purchased the £20 and a £5 top up for roaming and this is nor been working! Would you be able to refund me please?

@Lewi1591 Had you activated Roaming before leaving the UK on your device or in the app?

In the app in Turkey on the wifi in hotel! :)

You should always enable roaming prior to leaving the UK.

I changed from Turkcell to Turk Telecom and seems okay 😄 thanks for help!

My roaming ad on is not working in Turkey,  help, it's active but nothing

When you manually search for a network, are there multiple options showing for you? 

Have you tried them all?

Hi I am in Turkey, I topped up my roaming to use in Turkey for 10 days before I left the UK.

 

All roaming and settings are enabled before I left but it still says no internet connection.

 

I am therefore using the hotel Internet wifi.

 

Could I have a refund as this service is not available readily for me.

We're sorry to hear that your roaming bundle hasn't been working as expected in Turkey.

 

If you're still in Turkey, we'd recommend trying the following before requesting a refund:

  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then back off
  • Restart your phone
  • Ensure Data Roaming is enabled
  • Manually connect to a different network rather than using Automatic selection

 

Please try each of the available networks, including:

  • Turkcell
  • Türk Telekom
  • Vodafone TR
  • AVEA

 

After connecting to each network, test your data connection before moving on to the next one.

 

If you're using an iPhone, you may also wish to perform a network settings reset:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Select Transfer or Reset iPhone
  • Tap Reset
  • Choose Reset Network Settings
