Background activity - Blanket turn off

Hi, i would like to turn off all the background activity on my Samsung A40. Data saver is turned on, however apps are still using data. I shouldn’t have to waste time turning each off individually, esp’ as it is 4 buttons for each one :(

Hello @HBAC,

 

I believe this is referred to as “background app refresh”

 

Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Usage

Then scroll down and tap the app you want to turn this off for.

From the options toggle off the “Allow background data usage”

Hi. That is how to turn them off 1 at a time. Used to be a setting for ALL

Unfortunately if the all setting isn’t available it may be that the function isn’t available on your handset.
