Hello @M1p9q68,

 

Sorry to hear your Samsung A40 has stopped charging.

You can test a different charger + wire to rule out that it’s not a faulty charger here.

 

Otherwise, Samsung handsets come with a 24-month warranty so you can visit your local Carphone Warehouse store (within Curry’s PC World) or speak to the manufacturer to book in for repair.
