Problems setting up an iD SIM on an OPPO A37 phone

Has anyone successfully set up an Id SIM on an OPPO A37 phone? I have followed the guidance on this web site, but I can't make it work! If you have been successful, could you share your SIM settings?

Howdy @Moufflon

Does your phone allow you to define which SIM your phone would use by default for data?

They might be an issue with a dual-SIM phone, or a setting there within.

Could you try removing the O2 SIM, deleting the O2 APN settings and trying if the SIM is working for data then?

Hello @Moufflon,

Welcome to the iD Community.

What in particular about setting this up are you having issues with?

I followed the set-up instructions precisely, inserting the fields as instructed on the web site, and leaving the other fields blank. But it won't go. Would you like me to list out all the fields so that you can see how many blank fields there are?

Hello @Moufflon,

Are you referring to the APN settings?

Send us a screenshot of what you have currently for this.

Yes, the problem is with the APN settings. Sorry, I don't have the ability to send a screenshot, and anyway the settings cover more than one "page" of the screen.
I could send them as a Word document, but I'd need an email address to send it to as I can't see a way of attaching a document to this message. Don

Hi @Moufflon,

You could send us the list as plain text here if you like?

Hello @Moufflon,

Thanks for providing this.

They certainly match those found on our account.

Can you try the following (though it may seem pointless, this often triggers a reset on the network).

Can you delete all current APN settings (including this one).

Once deleted, restart the handset.

Then, add a new APN setting using the same settings as above.

I know that this is quite a common fix for One Plus users who also seem to have the same issue.

Let me know how you get on.

Idid as you suggested: deleted the APN, rebooted, entered the APN data agai but still no service. I rebooted again without success.
I have an O2 SIM already working (its a 2-SIM phone) and its settings are:
Name O2
APN O2
Proxy 193.113.200.195
Port 8080
Username payandgo
Password *********
Server not set
MMSC http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
PPP Number not set
MMS Proxy 193.113.200.195
MMS Port 8080
MCC 234 (no menu choice given)
MNC 10 (no menu choice given)
Authentication type not set (choice of None, PAP, CHAP, PAP or CHAP)
APN type default,supl.mms
APN protocol IPv4 (choice of IPv4, IPv6, or IPv4/IPv6)
APN roaming protocol IPv4 (choice of IPv4, IPv6, or IPv4/IPv6)

Does this offer any suggestions?
Thanks...

Yes, the phone allows a selection of either SIM 1 (O2) or SIM 2 for data. It's set for SIM 1.
I just can't take the risk of deleting the O2 APN details, as I'm wholly dependent on that connection for calls.
Thank you for your comments... Don

Hello @Moufflon,

I believe this is due to the way Dual SIM handsets work.

Only one active APN setting works at any given time and when there's multiple APN settings

I don't think there's any issue with the SIM/data on this.

At best, I can advise trying to test the iD SIM in another phone and just use that SIM with only the iD APN settings and it should work.
