Cant find log on details for phones

I want to upgrade my children’s phones which I got about 5 years ago, but I’ve lost all the login details. Is there any way I can get new logon codes for the phones?

Hello @SaraM,

 

By Log-in details do you mean for the iD account or are you referring to the PIN to access the device?

If you mean the My iD account use the following:

 

Forgotten username/email:

https://my.idmobile.co.uk/web/cpw/forgot-username/

 

Forgotten password:

https://my.idmobile.co.uk/web/cpw/forgot-username/-/forgot/forgotpassword

Hi Mohammed,

 

All I have are the two phone numbers. I want to upgrade the phones, but I don’t have any record of the username or passwords for the accounts. How do I go about upgrading the phones if I don’t know these? I am happy to stay with ID, but if I can’t upgrade then I’ll have to cancel the direct debit and start again with new phones and contracts.

Hello @SaraM,

 

To start, you need to make sure you have both SIM cards and are working.

First identify the Mobile numbers for each SIM. 

If you know this, you can move on. Otherwise, to identify this, just put the SIM in the phone and call a friend or family and ask them to confirm the number to you.

 

Then head to https://my.idmobile.co.uk/web/cpw/forgot-username/

Enter the 1st iD Mobile number, your last name and date of birth

A code will be sent ot that number, then enter this here to be given the username of the account.

 

Once you know the username, head to https://my.idmobile.co.uk/web/cpw/forgot-username/-/forgot/forgotpassword and enter the username 

A code is sent to the phone and enter this again and you can reset the password.

 

Then you can log-in and upgrade the account/manage it using the username/email you just found for the account and the password you just set.

 

Repeat the steps again for the second number.
