Hi have bought two sim cards for my two children to use in their phones. I have registered the first account so i can keep an eye on usage. I am unable to register the second because it says the email address is already in use.

I have seen via the community that you can't view both numbers via one account so how can i register the second number?

Hey @Andy 513

You would need to create alternative email address for the registration process. Lets say if your current email is andy513@gmail.com you could create another one like andy_513@gmail.com and use it to register second account.

Kind Regards

Good day @Andy 513 and welcome to the iD Mobile community.

Hikari is right with the fact that you would need to use an alternate email address (and username) to register your 2nd account.
Each iD Mobile number has to be registered to it's own unique email address you see.

If you're having any trouble registering though, please get in touch with our team through our Contact Us page.

Kind regards

He would need to own and have registered that second email address with gmail in that case Hikari.

Though there is a trick where if you use full stop's (.) in an email address. The email address servers will not actually read those dots. Meaning you can trick the registration process on a lot of sites by inserting dots into your email address to make them look different.

i.e.

PigeonCoffee@gmail.com
Pigeon.Coffee@gmail.com

Both of the above would have emails go to the PigeonCoffee@gmail.com inbox.

Underscores (_) though, don't work in quite the same way, as far as I'm aware at least.

Hey @Kevin, I am sorry if I wasn't clear with my response. This is what I meant, my advise meant to direct to registering new email address with gmail that would contain underscore and then using it to register in iD Mobile app.

Sorry for confusing you guys.

Kind Regards
