Children playing naturally without computers. Sunshine in the morning. Rainbows after the rain. Old couples holding hands. Hearing an old song and being taken back to fond memories. Looking through old photos. Nature untouched.

What makes me smile is when I pick up my grandson from his new school and he runs out and gives me a massive hug 😊

In 2025 we adopted a dog that was found as a stray. She always manages to bring a smile to my face even on tough days, or after stressful appointments. Watching her learn how to be a dog has been so rewarding, but it has also made me slow down and get outdoors as well as reminding me how to connect and play! Sometimes life is dark and gloomy but that waggy tail is enough to remind me that life is worth living! One gorgeous little rescue dog brought back my smile 😊

Likely to be the most common answer I’m sure - but it has to be my dog!

Spending time with friends, chatting at lunch about or week or spending time around friends of an evening over a meal or in the pub catching up, all put smiles on my face

Making my customers at work feel welcome and making them laugh or smile.

So just this morning, doing the school run with my 9yo daughter and we were singing, dancing and laughing walking her to school (spice girls no less) and it's just the best way for us both to start the school/working day 😁
