Early morning runs.

When the roads are quiet and the sun just rising, just me, my head phones and the start of a new day. 😀

Our new mini dachshund, Milo, makes me so happy. When he’s nestled on my lap with a look of absolute contentment then I know I’m having a good day and am lucky to have this new pup. He brings me the same joy my child brings me, although he does answer back just as much as Alice!

My one and only grandchild . He is my world mybest friend . His smile and imagination are everything . When I'm in a dark mood his face or voice makes it all go away

Blue Monday, often referred to as the most depressing day of the year, doesn't have to be a downer. Instead of dwelling on any negative feelings, let's focus on ways to boost our mood and improve our overall well-being. One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to get moving. Exercise releases endorphins, which are chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators. Even a short walk or jog can do wonders for our mental state. Reading is another great way to improve our mood. Immersing ourselves in a good book can transport us to another world and provide a much-needed escape from reality. Additionally, research has shown that reading can reduce stress and anxiety. Lastly, don't underestimate the power of social connections. Reaching out to friends and loved ones can provide a sense of support and belonging. So, instead of dwelling on Blue Monday, let's focus on ways to make ourselves happy and improve our overall well-being.

Monday’s mean looking after great granddaughter Rosie 2 years old if you don’t love and appreciate great grandchildren then you aren’t really human. Make the most of your time with younger members of your family. Answer their questions tell them your stories.
