I would give 10% to charity and buy a new house and car. The rest I would invest for an income so I don't have to continue working till I"m 67! But I wouldn't win it because I don't do lotteries!

I would like to buy houses for my three grandsons who, otherwise, are very unlikely to ever be able to get on the housing ladder.  (It would also actually be a form of insurance for me as, if the rest of the money ran out, I could move in with one of them!!!!!!)

A wedding, animal charities and help with children’s mortgages.

I would use a lot of it to set up a local animal charity to help pet owners that cannot afford high vets fees.

I would donate the money to All Saints Church, Sanderstead who are planning to celebrate their 800th anniversary by installing a stained glass window, replace the wooden pews with more comfortable seating, upgrading the sound system, replacing the ancient heating system and rebuilding the entrance lobby with a cafe / welcome area. All this will make a huge difference to the community that use the facilities.  Michael Turner

What would you spend £2,000,000 on?

I would take me and my partner backpacking around the world for a year, and invite my mam and her partner to join us wherever in the world they would like to see.

Then I would buy a house with a laundry room (big want of mine lol), which would help us to start a family without the financial worry. Then if we’re able to have children, put some money away into savings for them.

I would then pay off my sister’s mortgage and fix her car.

With anything left I would get myself and my partner a new car, any car with seat warmers and working air con as our 2008 cars are struggling!

2 mil?

Surely an endless supply of “ Ninja Double Stack XL 2 Drawer 9.5L Air Fryers “ ! :O

I kid of course, I have no interest in winning (if my name somehow pops, please reroll and offer to someone else!)
Just wanted to remark on how lovely it is to see so many people with selfless answers. Especially those of you looking at less well funded charities and victims of war. You’re all wonderful.

Not to throw any shade in the direction of those who didn’t answer like that. We all have our needs, no judgement here. That is all, stay super peeps <3

If I were fortunate to win such a large amount of money , I would make sure that it was used wisely to benefit those that need it , and hopefully put the remainder to good use for myself and family members.

I would treat my parents to their dream holiday, give my brother some for when he finishes university and I would use it to travel to places on my bucket list.

£200,000 split equally between 2 charities: Blood Cancer UK and EmbraceME, to further research and to support humanitarian support, respectively.

Purchase our retirement home in Norfolk, using around £350,000

Trust fund for 3 nieces and 2 nephews totaling £500,000

The remaining investing in us, our holidays and to enable us to give as people have need.

I’d spend £1m on helping the less fortunate.

50% of the rest would go into my savings/investments.

£500,000 on a house, a car, a trip to Iceland with my mum and an around-the-world cruise.

I would pay off my mums mortgage and do home improvements as she is wheelchair bound. Me and my husband would buy our first home and I would pay for him to have driving lessons - then buy him a car! A nice holiday would be lovely too!

A old farm house with land, plenty of land. Always been a dream of mine. 2 horses 🐎, rescue cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛🐱. The kids love helping the stray babies we look after. So to be able to look after a whole tribe would be amazing 👏🏻

There's a mixed tabby, a black who's turning grey/brown, a black & white, also help a ginger tabby. I've always found myself when I've helped animals 😌 ❤️ everyone deserves love and kindness, and a warm home 🏡
