My proudest moment of 2025 was in September, seeing my children progressing to their next year of school. Hearing about their achievements and accomplishments from their teachers. Also seeing my son progress in rugby and really getting into the team spirit. 😍

My proudest moment was completing the Click Start TechUp Women course, and attending the celebration event in Durham in June. I met so many incredible women and it was such a great experience learning together something completely new to all of us, we found a great community and the energy at the celebration event was fantastic, everyone was so proud of each others achievements and excited to take our first steps in a tech career!

Happiest moment was making it over the annapurna mountain pass in Nepal with a few friends during a 10 day hike amongst the best scenery the Himalayas has to offer, with beautifully kind and generous people along the route. Namaste.

My proudest achievements of 2025 were the achievements of my children. Things don’t always come easy for them, but we all just keep getting up and facing another day.

My proudest achievement has been seeing my son grow up. He's only young, but seeing him develop so well and become an adorable little toddler makes me so happy.

Happy New Year to everyone!

My happiest achievement in 2025 was starting the journey to understand ADHD. To be able to help my daughter navigate this crazy world and for her to understand how being different is also something wonderful. My proudest moment was to see her embrace this to become the best version pop herself. This brought me great joy and hope for her future!

2024 was depressing. My husband called time on our 32 year marriage, all my dreams of a happy and fulfilled retirement, travelling and spending happy times together,  sharing hobbies, came to an abrupt end. I was devastated and very unhappy. Life was to take an unexpected path - my daughter (aged 42) found her soul mate, got married in Florida in July (I went out to join them for a beautiful, intimate wedding on Lake Bryan) and I have inherited a whole new family - a wonderfully kind son in law, three new adorable grandchildren, my son in law’s sweet father and his sister plus two of their cousins. Just when I thought my life was over, with no joy left and nothing to look forward to, I find myself in the middle of a large, happy family and I am so grateful for the love that now surrounds me. You never know what is round the corner and my experience shows that anything and everything is possible. 2025 was good, 2026 will be even better.

Going on a cruise with our son, d-i-l and 6 year old grandson who was on his first ever cruise.

The beam on his face as we went swimming together will stay with me forever.
