One of my happiest moments in 2025 was finally taking a long-planned holiday to the Caribbean. It gave me the chance to fully unplug, explore new cultures, and spend quality time relaxing by the ocean. The trip helped me reset, gain a fresh perspective, and return home feeling re-energized and grateful for the experience.

My eldest passing his GCSE’s. My youngest making good progress in school. Nothing makes me prouder than my kids ❤️

My happiest achievement of 2025 was overcoming confidence issues by keeping up with gym training and being kinder to myself. At the end of the year started being honest with my crush and turns out they like me back…2026 not looking so bad now :)

Proudest and happiest achievement is both being able to fix a couple of engine problems with the ‘new’ campervan (it’s a Y plate) we bought in 2025.

Feels a little strange to say, but throughout 2025 I have been proud of myself for trying to keep going and create small moments of happiness to create positive new memories whilst having to deal with a very traumatic break up and also grieving the loss of a parent. It has been the toughest year of my life, but I guess I’m proud of myself for getting through it.

Going to see friends abroad that I had not seen for several years due to illness.

The more things change the more they stay the same!

Given the madness currently enveloping the world, ending the year in one piece and still mostly sane.

I lost 3 stone! I’m healthier and fitter than I have been in years, looking forward to an even happier and healthier 2026. Lots of walking and I can finally keep up with the kids.

In 2025 I finally got doctors to listen to me and after various tests, hospital stays, scans, I have had major surgery and am well on my way to recovery.  I am so proud that I kept going as I am neurodivergent and struggle to advocate for myself and speak up! I had to cancel so much fun stuff over the years so I am trying to make up for it now!

Can I have two?

  1. Retiring and enjoying a new stage of life
  2. Finding out that ID Mobile gave me more data and a lower price for the same service provider (Three), which meant I swapped from Three to ID Mobile!

My happiest achievement of 2025 was going on four seperate overseas holidays in a single year, which is a new record for me.

My happiest moment of 2025 was being asked to be godmother for my middle niece and seeing how all three of my nieces personalities are emerging as they grow older. I’m proud to be part of such a loving family ❤️

My proudest moment of 2025 was looking after myself. I gave myself a goal to try and be the happiest I can be and I feel I’ve been kind to myself this year. Hoping to be as kind to myself this year.
