I have had my current phone for just over 2 years. I usually keep mine for 4-5 years before thinking of replacing it, and I always recycle the old phone when I do replace it.

My IPhone 7+ since 2017.  Sadly not able to update to latest IOS versions.  Still working for most things though.

I've got a Samsung 21+, had it since 2022, so that's....🤯...3 years!

I’ve been using my iPhone 13 for 17 months, and I plan on using it for a few more years before I upgrade.

I've just upgraded to a Pixel 9 Pro XL and absolutely love it. I changed from the Pixel 7.

Since December 2022. First Android as a main phone since 2011. My last iPhone lasted seven years before I replaced it due to the battery capacity being 53%.

Only for a little over a month… I succumbed and got myself a new phone replacing a 5 years old phone that still worked very well but didn’t have the latest bells and whistles. I intend to keep this one until it fails...

I’ve been using a Samsung A71 for around four years so it is time to upgrade, but I can’t afford to upgrade to a brand new Samsung, so I’m planning on buying a refurbished, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra for a slightly larger screen size and an S Pen. This has better specs than the A71 and I think it will certainly last me a few years. I only wish it was possible to get a deal on a new phone which ran for five years so I could pay for it for longer. Personally I’ll stick with Samsung. I tried a different brand a few years ago, but I couldn’t get on with it.

When 3G was turned off in my region in Sep, I could no longer use my old phone to make calls. Hence I bought a new one from Argos using nectar points in Sep 24.

I have only ever, so far, replaced my phones when they have stopped working.
