Antarctica!  It Was something I always wanted to do and finally found someone who wanted to do the same trip.  Seeing penguins, whales and seals in their own environment was incredible and the trip through Drakes Passage was like something I have never done before. (Every single person, except me, was sea sick and we were all told to stay in our cabins for safety reasons).  I was just pressed up to the porthole watching the waves wash over us!

A week at Sun Peaks ski resort in BC. The best part was that I won the holiday for me and my son. We had the best week snowboarding, husky sledding, tubing etc. I still had to spend quite a bit on equipment and food but it was our best ever holiday.

Las Vegas, one of the most surreal places I have been too. From the crazy busy life on the strip, to the serenity and peacefulness of the Grand Canyon, which is an incredible sight. It has something for everyone.

Watching the thunderstorms in Thailand. I could just sit under cover and watch them for hours.

America in summer of 2017 with my Dad, two brothers and my auntie.

It was our last ‘family trip’ where all three children were in our 20’s (and dad generously paid and planned the whole thing!).

It was also before we all moved away permanently to different areas of the UK, after each always moving back and forth to dad’s house whilst studying at university.

It was such a special trip for me personally, as it was the last family holiday before becoming a mum the year later and starting my own family.

We flew to LA, and drove along the coast stopping in Santa Monica, Malibu, and Santa Barbara.

On to Monterey, where my dad and youngest brother, who are life long devoted golfers, got to play their dream course - Pebble Beach!

We drove along the Big Sur to San Francisco, and the memories of us all singing songs together on that drive that dad had introduced to us when growing up, from all of our carefully curated plays lists we made for the trip, are the best.

We shared memories and anecdotes from our childhood and growing up, to the backdrop of the ocean.

After our San Francisco stay, we drove to Yosemite. As a family of skiers and mountain lovers, we were very excited for this, and seeing the beauty and scale of the mountains there was amazing.

We hiked and rode on horses through a 5000 year old forest, finishing the day with pina coladas.

We then drove through Death Valley, experiencing 48 degrees C heat and the surreal, Mars-like environment and sand dunes where Star Wars was filmed.

Next we drove on to Vegas for the trip’s finale.

The best memories with my family, on the road trip of a life-time!

Our honeymoon in Koh Samui was pure bliss 🏖, welcoming, and unforgettable. 😎

The locals' warmth, the lazy charm of the wildlife, and the postcard-perfect beaches made every moment magical. From fresh coconuts under the shade to breathtaking sunsets, time felt beautifully unhurried. Even the wildlife had a relaxed charm—lizards lazily basking in the sun as if they were on holiday too!

We explored temples, indulged in incredible street food, and soaked up the island's laid-back culture. I'd return in a heartbeat! 💓

Trans Atlantic Caribbean Cruise on the cruise ship Arvia.
A brilliant cruise with exciting shore excursions.

Including a small boat trip where we spotted Killer Whales chasing a Humback Whale and her calf.
Not a pritty sight, but it showed wild nature and these intelligent mammals at their best, or worse depending on your outlook.
Crossing the Atlantic gave us a chance to thoroughly explore the ship and use as many of the features as possible.

Just got back from Egypt, we swam with dolphins in the Red Sea, went to the desert on quads, buggies and camels and had a waterpark hotel. Best holiday ever. Only downside that ID mobile didn’t cover Egypt so I got stung at the airport trying to get a taxi

Spent a fabulous weekend away in Whitby. Sunshine wall to wall so the sunglasses were on all the time. It would have been great to capture moments without having to get the phone out everytime!

A simple walking trip with my beautiful daughter - across Scilly.  Of course the airline lost our baggage - but that’s ok… it’s fun to make new friends in a queue and our Palmero hotel was so mad - a giant oval bed - a whimsical delight -worthy of an extra night.  The pasta so Italian, the Spring flowers - unbelievable and the friends we made delightful.  The lasting memories I took home - the hilltop villages and the uncommercial, untouristy side of Scilly in the hills.

My favourite holiday was a family trip to Greece. We got to see amazing historic sights in Athens and Delphi, but more importantly we got to see where our great grandparents came from - a small village in Cephalonia which they left due to the earthquakes. We also got to see the villages abandoned after the earthquakes as well as the beautiful beaches and archaeological sites on the island. A really beautiful family holyday.

Back in 2001 two friends and I decided to visit Vietnam. We were not yet 30, no ties and no plan - just bought an airline ticket and flew to HCM City. We travelled the country on rented motorbikes for what was the most wonderful experience and holiday. Stayed off the beaten track and in coastal luxury. The people and places were truly amazing. I strapped a small video camera to my tank bag and tried to get moving footage - I could have really used a pair of Ray Ban Meta Smart Glasses at the time. What a great accessory for vacations!

Holiday in Turkey with local guides, covering Istanbul and historical/archaeological sites (Cappadocia, Ephesus etc). The places were great, but the variety of delicious food was another big highlight.
