It has to be homemade Yorkshire puddings. It literally goes with pretty much everything that is on the plate. Scoop up mash, add some veg and meat and smother in homemade beef gravy. It is absolutely heavenly. It's undeniably the most crucial part of any roast dinner, no matter when it's served. I often eat any leftover Yorkshire Puddings as they are, dipped in spare gravy, or even with some golden syrup drizzled over them.
