The best thing on a Christmas roast dinner plate has to be the roast potatoes.  They must be cooked in either duck or goose fat and be really crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

Gravy!  Makes everything else delish!

None of it would taste the same without a fork.  Most useful thing on the plate - and, hence, the best.

Yorkshire pudding because it goes with every meat-controversial topic!

My favourite thing is actually the stuffing in the Turkey. Forget the meat!

Roasted parsnips with honey are the single best thing on the Christmas roast dinner plate.

The stuffing, tops it all off!

Brussels sprouts. They get a lot of bad press but at least they have lots of taste and can be combined with many others to make even more flavours

Gravy – it brings everything on the Christmas roast plate together. From roast potatoes to turkey, vegetables to stuffing, a rich, savory pour of gravy makes every bite better. Without it, the roast just isn’t complete  🦃🥔🎅🎄❄️🎈🎉

I'm a real foodie so crowning just a single item champion is very difficult 😂. Also, as I often have items that most people wouldn't have (or even, possibly, have never tried), I will limit my vote to the more traditional items that the majority of people will know & love. For this reason, I would probably have to reluctantly hand the crown to the homemade 'Yorkies' 👑🥇🏆
