What is the single best item on a Christmas Roast dinner plate?

I’m with the lovers of Roast Potatoes done just how Mum makes them. Nothing else come close.

Pigs in blankets should be their own food group. They are great as part of the Christmas lunch but if any are leftover (very unlikely) they make a great breakfast roll on Boxing Day, while you’re preparing the next feast.

Pigs in blankets all day. It's pig wrapped in pig and stuffed in to another pig (me)!

Pigs in blankets - everything else is on a roast year round, you know its Christmas when they wrap the meat in meat

Devils on horseback

Devils on horseback are a classic savoury appetizer of dried fruit (traditionally prunes or dates) stuffed with cheese or nuts, wrapped in bacon, and then baked or grilled until the bacon is crispy.

The best part of the Christmas roast has to be pigs in blankets although I am one of those people who like Brussel sprouts 😯

Definitely the honey roasted parsnips and carrots!

Blowers 💨. Plain and simple. None of this fancy business like adding bacon lardons or whatever they’re called nowadays. Just over-boiled until the house stinks to high heaven and they’re fall apart tender and mushy. Just like my nan used to make. 😋🤤

Always yorkies.

Lately been using two gaint ones. Put all the food in one, use the other to place on top.

Sandwich!

Such a difficult choice but it just has to be pigs in blankets. They elevate the dinner plate from roast dinner to Christmas dinner 😋😋
